This Tennessee River Rescue site is hosted by Lawrence County, a RiverTown participating in the Tennessee RiverLine initiative. Through a partnership between WaterWays and the Tennessee RiverLine, RiverTowns are joining the Tennessee River Rescue to expand community-led stewardship along the Tennessee River.
By volunteering at this site, you’ll join neighbors and fellow river advocates in removing litter, caring for local waterways, and helping protect the Tennessee River for generations to come.
The Tennessee RiverLine is a 1.2 million-acre connected system of outdoor recreation experiences along the Tennessee River’s 652-mile reach. Through the RiverTowns Program, communities across the region are strengthening their connection to the river and investing in its care.
