Spring Creek Litter Boom

TVFCU cleans Spring Creek! Located behind the 5090 Furniture Store is the City of East Ridge’s first litter boom. A litter boom is a floating litter collection device installed in creeks or streams to keep floating litter like plastic from going further downstream. This is a great tool for intercepting litter before it starts to degrade in our waterways, becoming microplastics and leaching harmful chemicals!
